Default/Uncontested Case

Once the spouse/partner asking for the divorce or separation (the petitioner) has completed the required steps and the other spouse/partner (the respondent) has either chosen not to participate or is also ready to complete the case by default or uncontested process, more paperwork has to be completed and filed in order to finalize the divorce or legal separation.
